You don't need any special scripts or codes to get del.icio.us to post a daily summary of all sites bookmarked. It is a built in feature of del.icio.us.

Go to Settings, and look on the right side under "daily blog posting" -- you enter some info to allow it to log in and post entries to your WP site. It will only create an entry if there have been new bookmarks in the last 24 hours. You can specify a WP category to file the posts under by getting the category id from your WP control panel. It works w/o any intervention.

The downside is you have no control on the blog title- it is "links for 10-04-2006", and if you bookmark a lot in one day, you will have a long post...

I explored another script that is supposed to do a weekly summary, but have yet to get it to work right.

If you are looking to put recent links in the sidebat, use the link rool javascript code also in the del.icio.us settings.
